I didn't intentionally set it up as a member of a workgroup, how can I disable the workgroup membership so that I can get it to join my office domain?
The Netlogon service does not need to run in this configuration. This computer is configured as a member of a workgroup, not as a member of a domain. Trying to start it generates the following error message in the System Log: While debugging, I noticed that the netlogon service is not started, and it will not start when I click on it. I am trying to connect Windows 7 64bit to my SBS 2003 server and I cannot set the domain name in the network ID Box.
